Bought this because of the other reviewer who said his physician recommend it.

loofah texture is smooth yet coarse enough to give a nice massage.

Back has terry cloth material.

Middle has opening on each end to insert soap or other product.

Both ends of loofah has braided rope. This, allows easy reach & comfortable back & forth motions.

I use the sawing motion & loofah on all parts of my body cause its a nice massage.

But I bought this for my back.

It can reach the hard to wash area on my back.

You can bend this length wise by folding the loofah part back toward the cloth side.

It will dry with a convex form.

This curve allows it to perfectly fit into the concave spinal column of my back.

I had an itchy patch & sometime I get bumps on my back.

After using this with Epsom salt baths & showers my rash that has finally disappeared in a matter of days.

I've used Epsom salt baths, other loofah with the stick, rounded brush with the stick, oval shaped foam lotion/soap applicator on a stick, applied pricy lotions, pricy oils & none of these items worked for me.

Want to give it four stars cause of the price.

However, I am so pleased with the product I cannot.

It is worth the cost in my opinion.

I was @ big lots yesterday & seen the same name brand item.

Didn't look @ the price because I didn't want to know.

Considering all the money I had spent prior to this purchase;

to stop my back from itching this saved me money & grief.

I've been using this product with Dial antibacterial body soap as recommended by my dermatologist's for my back acne. This product is a little pricey, but it offers free shipping and incentives that I don't have to get my car and wait in a long line at the local shopping center. Ultimately, I feel good about this purchase.

I was hesitant to spend $10 on this item, but I listened to the favorable reviews...

When I purchased mine, it was nearly $10.. so I expected considerably higher quality.

This product has stitched on loops at either end that you hold onto while scrubbing; when I opened the package I noticed that one of those loops wasn't attached. When I inspected it I could tell that during the stitching process the handle just didn't get caught in the stitches of the machine and did not adhere.

So before I was able to use this, I had to get out my own sewing machine, and stitch the handle onto it myself.. I was a bit upset by this, but it was easier than paying to ship it back.

After I got the handle secured, I like it quite a bit. You can tell it's cheaply made, but it's a good length for scrubbing your own back. I like being able to scrub with the loofah side, and rub down with the terry cloth side.

After about 3 uses, the OTHER HANDLE came apart and I had to stitch that back on.

Overall, I'm highly dissatisfied with the quality... perhaps I just received one that was stitched by someone new on the assembly line? Perhaps they were drinking that day? Perhaps they were exhausted and bleary eyed and had no clue what was going on. In any case, the product I received was damaged on arrival, didn't last through more than a few baths without needing additional repair, and would have been 4 or 5 stars if the handles were stronger/more carefully attached.

As I said, maybe the one I received was just a lemon and the rest are great.. I'm not sure.. I hope for the sake of others that this is the case.

I wouldn't recommend this product just because of that risk.. unless you are getting it very cheap, or you are readily willing to make repairs to it in order to keep it in useable condition.

I use this in the shower everyday and love it. It's just the right amount of scratch for cleansing and exfoliating.

Handy with the 2 loop handles. Would recommend it to everyone.
