My wife loved this case (as described, no surprises). She wanted to use this for her nail stuff. She loved the look and the finishing and how sturdy the case itself is. The number of trays is great. There is room to put a tall bottle of nail polish remover and brushes. The only problem was that access to the bottom compartment is impeded by the trays on either side. Since the inside is black, it is hard to see in between the trays. She really did try to keep it and make it work. That's how much she loved it. But we had to return it in the end.

I'm a makeup artist and needed a kit to hold my powders, glosses, shadows, brushes etc. While it is not a huge kit, it has plenty room and the aesthetics are nice as well. For ladies who just want to be able to hold their own makeup in one place at home this is absolutely perfect. For a traveling MUA you may want to consider something larger unless you get 2 of these. I'm still able to fit all of my makeup but it's not in an organized fashion in the bottom compartment. I absolutely love this case. The color is wonderful. I purchased it to replace a tackle box I was using to hold my paints. It is just perfect. I just wish I could find one slightly larger because my color pallette is increasing. However, I'm thinking I may just buy a second case and divide my paints between the two. I love that it has a shoulder strap giving me two options for transporting it.
