I bought this for my husband, and was shocked by how much he loved it. I had given him the 7 piece "On the Road Travel Pack", which he loved, and when he ran out of the shave lube included in that, I thought I'd get him this Triple Cushion Shave Lather. It is the greatest! He hates to shave, but this makes it much more tolerable for him. Soft, smooth skin, and a smooth, no drag razor trail make this the best stuff he's ever used for shaving. I love too use it for shaving my legs too! The macadamia nut oil, glycerin and soybean oil, make a terrific moisturizing base, and help protect from razor nicks and abrasions. Sometimes it is hard to find, just make sure it is the Jack Black Shave Lather in the jar, not the tube. (altho the shave lube in the tube is good too...) this Triple Cushion is just that much better, and worth searching out.

Ok, I shave my face and head everyday, sometimes twice daily as I do not work a normal 9-5 job and I am required to have a clean shaven face for work. So that being said, I shave a lot. Having used Gillete gels, Nivea sensitive skin, and the five pack Edge sensitive skin from Costco, I thought nothing could really make a difference as far as a shave cream goes.

Then I started reading about the new hype of bringing back the old school double edge safety razor. Really, better than the Gillette Fusion 5 blade razor?? Well I tried it but that is a different review.

Ok, as far as JB Supreme Cream, this is some really good stuff!! Don't let the size fool you, I followed the suggestion of another reviewer and start off with some Col. Conk shave soap for some pre lather, then I just dab the brush into this stuff, and I mean dab! I overuse, overeat, and overdo just about everthing, but when I mean just a dab, I mean just a dab will go a LONG way! I can lather my face and dome at least three to four good times with just one dab.

The razor glide is so much smoother, the razor rinses much cleaner, and the little bumps and irritation I once had have dissappeared. I am 100% sold on brushing on shaving cream and have ditched the aerosol cans for good. This is a quality product and will last a long time, trust me. The smell is good too, nice and clean.

I really like this cream over store bought stuff. It doesn't irritate my skin and it really allows the blade to glide off of your face nicely. Definitely worth getting. I would also buy a badger hair brush to apply it with.

I'm giving the 3 stars because the first time I bought (from Neiman Marcus) the cream it was great, super smooth and creamy. I was trying it out after using The Art of Shaving gear and quickly realized that this is not a soap so you wont get a lather up, but if you smooth it on and keep it moist you will get a nice shave. So first batch was about to run out and I placed an order for more from Amazon. The latest batch looked bad but if you worked at it the cottage cheese would end up fine. It seems like the recipe was off somehow. Anyway I used most of it then it started to separate now it looks like water in cottage cheese. I am back to Art of Shaving soap and that is working just fine. I would buy it again but Would only keep it if it were smooth and creamy from the start.
