A little goes a long way with this and if you follow the directions, you won't be disappointed. Start with a VERY small amount and work your way up if you want more height and lift. I have a pixie cut and wanted something for a more "tousled" look with out crunch and some shine. Unlike a lot of products out there that give lift you get a matte finish or semi-matte and crunch. I didn't want that. It dries fast so you have to work somewhat fast. I've read some reviews of this product where people comment that it is very hard and stiff. I am so glad I read those AFTER I actually tried it or it would have scared me off! This product is not stiff feeling or hard at all, and I say that having used or tried lots of different products over the years to get a semi-mussed look. You can brush through this after styling, which is just impossible with a lot of products. You also have to use VERY little, a dab about the size if a pencil eraser does the trick nicely. If you prefer a spikier look, just use a bit more. This is my go to styling product from now on. I found it in a major retail perfume store in another city, glad to find it on Amazon when it was time for a refill.
