My main issue with mascara is that it runs, and is smeared below my lower lash line. If you haven't read my review of Emju Fiberwig's mascara, I'll repeat that I've tried: DiorShow, Shu Eumura, YSL, Givenchy (recently received a sample from Sephora), Shiseido, Maybelline (in a Pink tube), Lancome, Estee Lauder, and Fresh Supernova mascara.

With that said, this is the mascara I am sticking with, and will not be moved to buy expensive Department store brands again. My reasoning for this is that I have had the least* problem with my mascara running and for its amazing performance on my lashes, it's CHEAP! *Least: this mascara still runs, but not as much as the others I've tried. It's the best I've found to target my issue with mascara.

The wand's bristles are plastic. They separate each lash and evenly distribute the product. With my Asian eyes, it thickens, makes my lashes look bold + long after 2 coats (see instructions below). The mascara itself does not have an oil-based consistency like Shu Eumura and Fiberwig. It's more comparable to the Maybelline/Fresh/Shiseido/Lancome mascaras.

1)I first apply 1 coat of the mascara after doing my eyeshadow and eye liner (Think of mascara as not only a lash thickener + lengthen'er', but lash mousse which will help them to stay curled), 2) Try not to blink as much until you can feel that the mascara has somewhat dried 3) curl my lashes, 4) Apply 1 more coat of mascara LATER in the day to touch up.

Try it because it's economical (cheap), and because I wouldn't have written this long of a review if I didn't believe in this product.

This is the only mascara I have ever used that actually holds true to its advertisement, it really does lift, separate, and volumize. I am afraid to try any other mascara now that I have found "the one". And for 3 bucks through Amazon? Too bad I just bought another one at Walgreens for 6.50 the other day!

I love that the wand is kind of the same material as an eyelash comb. That way, there are no clumps and I don't have to use an eyelash comb to separate them. Also, having blonde lashes, its usually hard to coat every lash with normal mascara. This one works well for that!
