This is my first purchase of their makeup, being a Bare Minerals user ever since it came out. But since I use their acne cleanser and it is THE BEST, I thought why not try their makeup. It is cheaper, plus there is WAY more product in the jar. I want to try their finishing powder which is like Mineral Veil, but truthfully I almost don't need it. The makeup lasts all day, where as with BM makeup I HAD to use Mineral Veil or it wouldn't last. You can go to their website and buy little samples of color for $3, if you are unsure about which color to go with. I got Medium Neutral, and I used to get Medium Beige with BM. It is a good match, maybe a tiny bit lighter. I may go one shade darker next time. Anyway, Carley's is awesome, the best products and best customer service. This is incredible makeup. It is so much better than that other famous brand of mineral foundation, which I have tried several times with unfavorable results. This foundation gives a nice matte finish and it covers really well. I have broken capillaries on my nose and cheeks and pink acne scars and this covers with no problem, leaving just enough of my skin showing through for a natural, healthy glow. It lasts too! I am so happy about this since I work in a sweltering hot kitchen all day doing highly physical work and it actually stayed on! Truthfully, I have never used a foundation that looked so natural. The only negative thing I have to say is probably my own fault since I didn't know which shade to buy and that is: I got the Tan Olive and Medium Olive shades thinking they would have a greenish tint to them but I find them to be very yellow or "golden". They blend so well though that it's not a real issue. Next time I will just try a different shade.Honest reviews on Carley's Mineral Foundation
Loved this foundation and received quickly. Not heavy on the face, goes on smooth. Doesn't last as long on the face as I would like
