When I first purchased the L'oreal telescopic waterproof liner, I was very underwhelmed. But after using it for several months, I've realized that the key to getting a good application is giving the bottle a good shake prior to application. The formula seems to settle pretty quickly, but as long as you shake it vigorous to mix, you can get fabulous results.
The felt tip applicator is on the bigger side and it's pretty rigid. It will lay down a fairly thick line of product which I personally like.
The wear time for me is easily 12 hours, probably more. I haven't had any problems with smudging or flaking. It stays put once you apply. I will repurchase this product.

This eyeliner is awesome. I can apply it at 8 in the morning and at midnight, it is still all there. It doesn't smudge or smear. It is easy to apply, and if my hands are shaky, a quick touch up with a q-tip cleans up the wiggles made by my unsteady hands. The true test was after a loooonnggg session of hot, steamy, passionate lovemaking that would usually leave raccoon circles under my eyes... L'Oreal Paris Telescopic Waterproof Eyeliner was still perfectly applied! The only thing to remember when using this product is to keep the screw on part of the bottle and lid clean so that you get a good seal every time that you close it and that it won't build up on the bottle and break your lid. This is the only eyeliner I will wear.Best Deals on L'Oreal Paris Telescopic Waterproof Eyeliner, 0.08 Ounce
The skinny: truly waterand smudgeproof. Enthusiastically recommended.I love this eyeliner. When it dries on your skin, it's truly waterproof and--assuming you're not scrubbing at your eyes--it lasts a long time (will partially come off if you sleep in it, though). It's more of a 'flake-type' than 'smudge-type' eyeliner, in that, when it does come off, it flakes or peels off. Painlessly, rest assured.
Notes: shake the bottle before applying. Also, because of the flaking issue, touch-ups at the end of the night can be more difficult, since the 'old' line has a tendency to catch onto the brush (which is a sponge-tip, btw). Not a major problem since this, again, is hours into your night, but I thought I'd note it anyway,
