I'm constantly trying different kinds of mascara. Sometimes I find one that looks good to start out, but it never lasts the day the way it started out. This mascara is different. First, it does lengthen my lashes, maybe not 60%, but still noticable. Second, it doesn't come off during regular wear. It lasts all day with absolutely no smudging or flaking. When I finally wash it off in the shower it comes off easily, though kind of dramatically since it comes off like plastic and still leaves no residue on my face.
I don't wear it on the day I go swimming, because it would come off in tiny black strings in the pool, but other than that it is ideal to use everyday. I bought it for friends and family, just because I think it is the perfect mascara. I simply love this stuff.

I had to share this amazing story This mascara, which I already knew didn't smudge, actually lasted through my entire labor and delivery.I put this mascara on Saturday night and went into labor Sunday morning and had my son Sunday night. We came home from the hospital Tuesday morning and would you believe this stuff was still on? Some of the "tubes" had come off, but there were no smudges.
It doesn't curl much (I have to use a curler) and there might be other mascaras that make your lashes thicker, but for me I love the lengthening and the fact that it doesn't give me raccoon eyes. I don't wear a lot of eye make-up, often nothing except this mascara and I have oily lids.

Every other mascara I have ever worn ends up under my eyes in a matter of hours. This mascara NEVER does. I love it. Plus it really does extend my lashes and is so easy to take off. Okayyy, this stuff is pretty dang awesome. I was skeptical about trying it at first because it is one of those weird tubes with the two side and and two applicators and for some reason those kinds of things just intimidate me or seem like some kind of gimmick, but this mascara actually works and does what it is supposed to do. You apply the white side first, and get it all over your lashes. Some people like to do this twice, like doing it one time, waiting for it to dry, and doing it again. Then, when the white part is completely dry, you go ahead and pile on the black stuff. This part is tricky because you have to cover up all the white on your lashes. Anyway, I don't exactly know how it works, but your eyelashes actually do come out looking way longer and stronger than before you put this mascara on. One downside to this is that it does actually feel like you are wearing a ton of mascara, which you are, but you can actually feel it. I don't know if that makes any sense. oh, and when you take it off it comes off in little clumps. I had tried this mascara before, then explored a few other brands before coming back to it. There is no other product out there that can match it for my needs:1. I wear contact lenses and have allergies, so any product that could flake and irritate the eyes is to be avoided
2. I am Asian, and therefore have very straight lashes. Even when I curl my lashes, I always have under-eye smudges by the end of the day if I use regular or even waterproof mascara.
3. I work outdoors in the summer, and my face is often a mess of sunblock, sweat, and water
4. After working outdoors, I often like to jump in the pool
L'Oreal Beauty Tubes stays on through sweat and swimming, and leaves NO under-eye smudges. It only comes off when I take a warm shower and rub my eyes.
