For some reason I have received a certain amount of comments for my review. Seeing that a play-by play account was not part of my original review--let's add it now to prevent the annoying and condescending comments from coming my way.
Please read carefully.
I TRIED the product in the store. An MUA applied it to my skin. I WALKED outside of the Sephora into the sunlight to check the product. I HATED the way it looked. I WALKED back into the store. I TOLD the MUA that it looked horrible on. I ASKED for several tissues to remove as much of the product as possible. I WALKED out of the store without purchasing the product.
Please, I beg of people to stop sending me comments or questions of why on earth would I purchase a product I didn't like, why didn't take home a sample, why didn't I return it.
How could I return a product I didn't purchase?
So with that above commentary let's proceed to my original review.......
Let's face it, I am a make-up fanatic. Three huge drawers full and still I want more. I will try just about anything out there just as long as I can afford it, but then...I must love it in order to keep it.
I do tend to stray from brands that have too much "Gimmick" in the name. A rep at Sephora told me this would work wonders for my splotchy skin (due to heredity---not the sun) and of course it looked nice.....in the store with that lovely, special lighting they have that sucks you into buying just about anything because it looks so good in there.
But when I got outside....you would have thought I was a 10 year old who had fun with "Mommy's" make up. It looked far too cakey, thick and certainly did wonders for clogging my already large pores. Yes, it covered everything, but for my skin it was better suited for me if I was an actress on stage and needed that special coverage for stage lighting. Worse yet, it made my sensitive skin break out.
I know of people who swear by this brand and the foundation, but for me, I am one of the select few who unfortunately cannot fit that mold. I would suggest asking for a sample of the color, bring it home and wear it in all sorts of light to see how your skin looks and reacts.

I use color 120 (light complexions with yellow undertones), and it is my second skin. This yellow base covers redness and imperfections completely, and this is the lightest foundation with the best coverage I've ever used. It looks very natural once you find right color.Use good moisturizer with spf, and this foundation will glide on the skin. Less is more-I usually dab a bit all over the face and even out with slightly dump beauty blender. For problematic areas is good to use concealer, not this foundation (it will loose natural look). The look is flawless, dewy (not oily) and it makes pores disappear. I don't want to make a mask, I want to see my real skin, even if there are some imperfections-it look more natural yet more beautiful and evened out.
On a hot or busy day it won't last day, unless I use good primer and finish with powder but than I look like I wear make up. MUFE or Skindinavia finishing spray helps to look more natural. Especially Skindinavia spray makes foundation last longer (eye make up too).
Also the container beats the Dior and other competition, as it opens and you don't waste a lot of product.
I made my passport pics with some other make up and when I bought this I made new ones and face looks flawless, this is truly HD make up.
