I spent years trying different mascaras and walking around with "raccoon eyes" by the end of the day. I was always checking the mirror in the restroom to wipe off the dark smudges from the skin under my eyes. Eventually, I discovered an expensive, cosmetic counter product that solved that problem, but it clung on so tightly that my eyelashes started coming out when I removed the mascara!
Since that wasn't working well, I went back to my big-box retailer to look for a more inexpensive product that I hadn't tried yet. I stumbled upon this Almay product and it solved my problem! I have worn this for about 5 years now and will never buy anything else. When I put it on, it stays on until I take it off and when I do remove it, my eyelashed are still attached to me! My teenage daughter had been using another cheap brand and when she was getting ready for prom last week asked if she could borrow my mascara since she wasn't happy with hers. After using it one time, she has switched and is now using this as well.
I will say that the product package says "one coat" and that isn't how I use it. I put one coat on and let it try completely (which doesn't take long) and then add a second coat on top. By doing it this way, I don't end up with clumps and it looks lush yet natural.
Very good value for the money.
