Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program At $45, this set is outrageously overpriced. If I saw this in a store, I'd think either the price tag was a mistake, or they included 3 ten dollar bills inside the bag. And if that weren't bad enough, I can't stand the overpowering scent. It's a nice smell, but I don't want to wash/moisturize/shave/shampoo with it. I understand that's a matter of personal taste; I may think it's overpowering & overdone, while other people may think it's nice & subtle (and I always seem to be riding in elevators with those people), but if I can smell the opened package from another room, that's probably too much scent for anyone.

The kit comes with:

1. Daily Face Wash Very light, easy on the skin, lathers well.

2. Oil Free Moisturizer Nothing too spectacular, does the job.

3. Super Close Shave Formula I enjoyed this particular item the most. The shave cream's foam consistency is just right for comfort, smells good, and provides for a good shave.

4. After Shave Balm Bold smell, and very comfort to apply on skin.

5. Daily Protein Shampoo Thick consistency, cleans hair gunk well.

6. Custom Travel Dopp Bag To tie it all together, the Dopp bag is quite fashionable. In the hand, it has a good feel. The checkered texture is a nice touch. Easy to unzip and zip.

I like this Travel kit a lot. Well done, Baxter of California. Highly recommended

The navy quilted bag is strong and will be usable long after the sample products have been used.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program In this travel kit you get a quality travel bag, face wash, after shave balm, shaving creme, shampoo, and moisturizer. The soaps were not included in my collection.

Overall, this kit gets high marks. You will either like the light scent of the products or you won't, but I found them inoffensive and rather pleasant in a masculine sort of way. They seem like quality products that didn't irritate my skin or other senses. This travel kit is pricey compared to something you might get at a local drug store, but the products feel like premium quality. And once again the travel bag is a welcome inclusion. I don't travel much, but this came in handy on an overnight at a local hotel. It met my needs (after I included a razor, deodorant, hair brush, tooth pastes and toothbrush). The quality was way ahead of the standard hotel fare.

This would make a nice gift for a traveler you know, or a good basic starter as an overnight kit. While I liked the Baxter products, I won't go out of my way for them. I hope to be using the bag they came in for years to come.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program Got this for my son to use on a trip. I inspected the bottles and the bag when it arrived and love the look and size of it. The smell of the products is very pleasant.

He cannot stop raving about the products. He especially likes the shampoo, which he says makes his hair more manageable.

He loves the products, I love the bag! Hopefully he'll give it back to me.
