After using Bare Escentuals and every other kind of makeup brush in the world, I read how great the e.l.f. brushes were by reviewers. They did not sell the kabuki at Target, so I searched Amazon, and of course they did not let me down. This brush is awesome! It is so soft and doesn't scratch your face like the Bare Escentuals does. You probably haven't noticed that, but once you start using e.l.f., you will throw away the old scratchy ones.

it sounds silly to be so excited about a brush but this brush is terrific I've never tried a brush this soft, it's amazingly silky and fine-haired, it picks up just the right amount of face powder and is big enough to apply the powder correctly. i really love it, and especially like the small handle which makes it perfect to put in yr purse or for travel etc. Love it!

It feels really nice. That's true. But it was so soft and fluffy that it held little product causing minimal coverage. This is nice for maybe a finishing powder but not a foundation. It is also a larger brush practical for use on the entire face rather than blusher or contour.

For the price, this brush could rival any expensive option. Be very careful while washing it, don't get any water into the handle, it will shed!
