I absolutely need this color eyebrow pencil...black/brown...because the blacks on the market are way too dark and the brown's don't suit me because my hair is salt and pepper gray....my sister can use the browns because she dyes her hair various shades of brunette/auburn...I buy them two at a time because they are hard to find @ the drug / grocery stores..

I bought the dark brown color. It is very soft and very red-tinted. I would definitely not buy this again. I'll be giving it away or tossing it.

I have very light and ashy brown brows and my face has so soft fetures that dont take any harsh color or edges.. brows been problems for me for years and no pincel has solved that problem as good and natural as rimmel's . i bought the color light brown and it glides smoothly and brushed thowroly till it provides me the best natural look ..

After reading the reviews, I was eager to see how well this product worked.

COLOR: The brown-black color works well with my skin tone, though it's more a lighter brownish black than the deep, smokey dark brown like sable I was hoping for.

APPLICATION: The fine lines achieved with this brow pencil look natural and are easy to blend in with my brow hair. It applies nicely and easily, but nothing spectacular.

DURABILITY: I applied it around 8:30 AM, and because I'm recuperating from an injury, all I did for 3 hours was sit and read intermittently and watch TV online. No physical activity on a cool, overcast day. After 3 hours of relative inactivity I looked in the mirror with great anticipation. The brow make-up had faded. It was gone, dissolved off of my face.I couldn't tell that I had applied any brow make-up -no remnant!

COMPARISON: I'd rate it the same as my MAC brow pencil, except that the MAC lasted more like 5 hours on a make-up test day.

BOTTOMLINE: Still looking for a miracle brow pencil. I will not buy this again, unless Rimmel develops a waterproof and sweatproof version.
