I have stubbornly straight eyelashes. I heat my eyelash curler before curling and then apply mascara. But, the wrong mascara -waterproof or not, or expensive or not -will cause my eyelashes to straighten again. My old mascara by Loreal was discontinued so I was desperate for a new mascara. I am SO happy to discover Maybelline's Lash Discovery. The waterproof version is GREAT -doesn't smudge and comes off easily with makeup remover. The little wand makes it easy to apply and very precise. It is even better than the one I used before and I am SO happy to have found it!

I've been using this product for years. Every so often I will buy another brand of so-called "waterproof" mascara (I always like to be prepared!), but I am always disappointed in other mascaras! None of them are as waterproof as this one. The tiny brush gets all of my lashes and makes them look so long. My lashes are long on their own, but they are light brown with blonde tips so you can't really see them well unless I put mascara on. I put 2-3 coats on them and they look great; I've had many compliments on my long lashes. And this mascara trumps all others! This is a staple in my makeup bag.

*Note: if you are looking to make your lashes look thicker, this probably isn't the right product to use. If length and waterproof-ability is what you're going for, look no further!

DO buy the waterproof. I use this little guy mostly for my bottom lashes, and that area gets the most oil/sweat as far as mascara goes, so yes, do go for the waterproof.

This product makes your eyes POP and because it's so delicate compared to any other wand, you can really get to tiny areas and make such a huge difference.

As a tip, hold the wand inward to your face. Gently pull lid to the side to really expose the upper+inner lashes toward you more to apply this product.

*** PLEASE NOTE: For those complaining about wand size. This is not made to replace your main mascara!!! Use this in addition to your thickening mascara to bring out the little hairs and really change your usual look.

I love this mascara! It has tiny bristles on the wand, which means NO CLUMPS! Even though it is waterproof it washes off easily with a cleanser or makeup remover. I have very long and "unruly" lashes and this is the only mascara in a long time that I've been truely happy with.

My lashes are long, thick but unfortunately straight ¼ I only use the mascara to highlight them and keep them curled after using the curler on them.

I have been using Estee Lauder¡¦s product for but a friend insisted this is just as good. Estee¡¦s mascara is $20+ for a new tube. I figured I have only $5 to lose if this works just as well.

I¡¦m impressed. I really like this product. I now own both the regular and waterproof. No clumping or flaking.

Cannot believe I¡¦ve been paying for Estee Lauder all these years when this works just as well for me. The only negative is I really dislike the tiny, hard brush and prefer Estee¡¦s brush but for this price I can definitely get past that.
