Cheap Rimmel London Volumeflash Scandaleys Mascara Black #003 - Scandal

I tried this mascara hoping to find a cheaper option then Benefit Cosmetics BADgal Lash Mascara and thought this one might work since I've tried Rimmel mascara to good effect in the past. This one was a poor choice.

The brush for Rimmel Volumeflash is HUGE and thick. It is almost impossible to get any mascara on the brush and it takes 10-15 swipes to coat your lashes. The results were lackluster and did not add any noticeable volume to my lashes.

I do not recommend Rimmel Volumeflash mascara. It took too much effort for too little effect to make it worthwhile.

I was really surprised at the bad reviews because I LOVE this particular mascara. It gives me the best dramatic full lashes of any mascara. I never write reviews and often use amazon, but when I saw the bad reviews I thought I should put my opinion up. i really am surprised not more good comments are upI actually bought the covergirl mascara thinking it was this one and had to go back. It is a huge brush but if you go slowly starting at base 2-3 coats is great!!

When I saw all of these bad reviews, I was surprised. I did not purchase this mascara on amazon, I got it at my local CVS about 2 months ago. And I'm wearing it right now! This is the best mascara I've ever used! I don't have THAT much experience with makeup, because I'm only 14 years old, so me saying that it's the best mascara I've ever used isn't that's big of a deal because I've only used like 4 mascaras in my life. But I think the big brush is a pro because it makes my lashes look great, and I rarely see clumps. OverallI would recommend this mascara. Works very well for me.

I agree that this is the best mascara I've ever used. It adds a huge amount of thick, lush volume, decidedly does NOT flake, and is a superb product.

I cannot relate at all to the other reviewers' comments; perhaps I just have bigger eyes or longer lashes, but have had no trouble with poking myself in

the eye, getting lines on my lids, not being able to fill the brush with enough product. Honestly, it is as if the other reviewers are reviewing a product

different from the one I am reviewing! Love this product and just bought several more tubes.

This product has been a disappointment. As other reviews have said, the brush is too big. I get marks on my upper and lower eyelids every time! Also the actual mascara is way too goopy, makes horrible clumps, and when it dries it flakes off into my eyes CONSTANTLY. I've never had so much trouble with flakes getting IN my eyes! I've also noticed that I have to wipe off a lot from under my eyes throughout the day. I rarely feel strongly enough to write reviews, but after having my eye irritated and tear up for the 2nd time in an hour, I have developed negative strong feelings about this mascara. Do yourself a favor, keep on looking and buy yourself a different product.
