These brushes are absolutely wonderful. They feel great on the skin and to the touch. Make-up is applied effortlessly with their smooth ability to deliver just the right amount of product to the skin without keeping a large amount of product loaded in the brush itself. It is recommended that you purchase brush covers as the ones that come with the set are hard plastic and not all of them will be able to be re-used once you remove the cover for use. They maintain their shape for many years and don't 'shed' as much as other brushes I've used. There are a few occasional hairs left after application, depending on which Jane Iredale product you are applying. I have not used these brushes with many other products. These are a great accessory to your make-up collection.
