I buy in the creme color since they are usually sold out of the translucent when I seem to need to buy it. I think the translucent would be much better for my very light skin. I'm going to suggest anyone else with very fair skin go with the translucent(I'm as white as a sheet of paper). If you are a normal light skin tone creme should be the right color for you to use.
Now to the main part of what you really want to know. As you get older powder is really not your friend. It usually emphasizes things you don't want it too and make you look much worse. This ,however, doesn't do that. This goes on really nice and stays on all day looking very natural. I get a lot of compliments on my skin. I absolutely love this product and don't think I will ever use another powder besides this one.
One last thing, it does last a long time. Even if you use it everyday it's going to take you well over a year to use it up. I highly recommend this powder just not at what they are trying to charge for it here.

I read some rave reviews about this powder and bought it. I think it is excellent as an all over setting powder to set foundation as it's wonderful in terms of texture and lightness, but I found that it gave me a chalky dead look. I had to put Diorskin Forever compact powder on top of it to bring back some luminosity to my face. It did help my makeup last all day and did not settle into fine lines and did not cause my concealer to cake or dry out. Great stuff, but you will probably need to add highlighter on top of it because the look is utterly matte, which might not be a bad thing for most. Five stars for function, though! I love the powder. Very pretty. But it doesn't hold the oiliness in my face. But I'm very oily. Overall I really really love this.
