First off, I started using this product back in the 70s, but ended up over the the years buying all the new and greatest brands, but ultimately came back to this old stand-by, because I happened to be watching ABC's Good Morning America news show one morning, and they had a beauty consultant on which had gone through all the top rated mascara brands including this one. Ultimately, their tests couldn't prove any of the other more expensive brands were any better than this old stand-by. And the reported indicated that it was more feasible to use this brand. So, I will start using this product again, and stop wasting my money on the other brands which I personally couldn't see any improvement over this one.

I decided to try the waterproof Great Lash mascara because I liked how the original Great Lash looked, but it smudged all the time. This mascara goes on smoothly, doesn't clump, thickens somewhat (without spider-eyes), doesn't flake everywhere, and lasts all day. My only problem is even the waterproof version leaves undereye smudges after about two hours of wear. I have very fair skin, so maybe this will not be as noticeable on other users as it is on me. Unfortunately, I have to find something else.

This is considered a drugstore mascara and it works beautifully. I wouldn't spend money on a high end mascara for clients when I can get the same results with a drugstore brand that is only a fraction of the cost and does just as good if not better. Great volumnizing and lengthening mascara.

I decided to try this out based on all the good reviews. I really like this product. It doesn't clump, it separates and it stays all day, even during a hot and humid day. Of course, being waterproof, I need to use another product to remove it, but it;s okay. This does the job and it is cheap too!
