My issue is that the plate did not appear to be new as the packaging was odd. It had no inserts or product description and it was open. Hmmmm..... Seems strange. It was newer looking as it was shiny, but there were a few scratches and gunk on the plate. It is a mixing plate so I didn't let that bother me as I know that will come with use over time.
