Reviews of Charmoee™ 22pcs Professional Cosmetic Makeup Brush Set Goat
As a professional makeup artist, I can never have enough brushes to keep my work clean and sanitary in the midst of a chaotic job. So, when I saw this set for this price, I couldn't pass it up. I would recommend it to any lay person for their personal use. It would make a great gift for that girlfriend who just doesn't seem to know where to start with makeup. CAVEAT: Professionals should know that the 'goat hair, pony hair, etc.' brushes are synthetic. Synthetic is not necessarily a bad thing, and these are good quality synthetics....soft, tapered fibers can compete with mid-grade natural hair brushes, for sure. Most of the eyeshadow brushes are real hair of unknown origin (if I were to venture a guess I would say squirrel, but who knows). This is the perfect example of 'if it seems too good to be true, it probably is.' So much for truth in advertising. Looking through all the other sets listed as similar to this one, there's lots of fun colors and sizes, large sets and small. The more expensive ones MIGHT be natural hair if you're a stickler for that. Better choice for animal advocates. So, don't think this set will launch your makeup artist career, but it is worth the price and I'm keeping the set.
