I wish I could give this brush a good rating, but unfortunately I can't. I have been using Bare Escentuals makeup for about 6 years now and have never had much luck with their brushes. This one is the worst. I've had it less than a year and it is already unusable. The quality is just really poor. The bristles break and fall out and are left all over your face. Using mineral make-up puts a lot of wear and tear on a brush, but it should hold up better than this one. I'm going out today to buy a Bobbi Brown brush...I have one of her blush brushes I bought at least 5 years ago and it is still in excellent condition.

I have several Bare Escentuals brushes including this kabuki one. In every brush case it has begun shedding within a year of use and the softness of the bristles degrades quickly even with weekly cleaning and using only the mineral powder products on the brushes.I've since discovered Sigma brand brushes on Amazon and the quality of those over these is immense. I also paid about $20 $30 for each of my Bare Escentuals brushes (at Sephora) so paying around 20 for a Sigma brush that lasts for years and never sheds is more than worth it. I only wish I had realized the difference sooner.

From the very first time I used the brush it shed all over my face. It would be comparable to using my cat to brush the make up on. All kidding aside the makeup is great the brush should be purchased elsewhere.
