I have been using Double Extend for about two years now and after trying new ones that promise curly, long lashes (from drugstore type to department store ones); I always keep coming back to this one. I recently even order a Japanese mascara from Hong Kong in hopes to get better results (which I didn't).

Before I apply the mascara I curl my lashes, I then apply the primer, let it dry and apply the first coat. After the first coat dries, I curl my lashes again (I know, many may cringe at this "no-no", but the formula of this mascara is great and does not stick to your curler), I just make sure to wipe out any mascara residue from the curler after first eye. I follow by a second coat of mascara and voilá!: my short and straight lashes are transformed into longer, thicker, curly ones.

I have been using this mascara for several years. Every once in awhile I'll see something in the store that seems appealing and every time I try something new I regret it. I have yet to find another lengthening mascara that works as well as L'Oreal Double Extend. I'm sticking with this one from now on.

I have been using this mascara for a few years now since I got it free to try as a BzzAgent. I have chronic dry eye due to LASIK vision correction, and I use eye drops SEVERAL times daily. L'Oreal Double Extend Mascara (and its sister product in the red tube) is the only mascara that doesn't smudge no matter how many times I apply eye drops. And I get super thick, yet natural-looking, lashes with NO CLUMPING! It also washes off very easily and thoroughly with the very gentle face wash I use daily. No need for expensive eye makeup remover. If this product ever gets discontinued, I don't know what I'll do!

The original product was great. The one I ordered from Amazon was old and dry. Even the package was yellowing. I would have returned it but I only paid $3...didn't seem worth it. Was able to water down and get some use of it. Lesson learned: Don't but the cosmetics I loved and can no longer find at the drug store online because they are old.

I have used this product for years. Switched to fancy dept. store brands and ended up comng back. Never had a problem with quality until this purchase. Just received it and both ends are bone dry. I believe I was sent an old one. Not worth returning it, but definitely going in the trash immediately.
