I love this eyeshadow!!! I really like to apply it wet, if you apply it dry you need a primer so it sticks easier. It really goes well if you want a smokey, night time look. I would definitely recommend this to anyone, because I love eyeshadow and have seen good and bad, but this one is definitely in the top 5, along with MAC eye shadows. Good quality makeup.

I've never used Laura Mercier before, and I saw this color *Black Karat in a mag and just had to try it. Love it!!! It looks and feels luxurious. I have dark brown hair and brown eyes and olive skin tone. I usually go with brownish eye liners, but I tried this as an eye liner and I love, love, love the color. It brightens up my eyes and is so much softer than a pencil liner. It's goes on like a smoky gold. And you can really use it wet or dry, and after you've wet it with a brush, you have not ruined it for powder use. As a shadow, it has just the right amount of sparkle. I love shimmer, sparkle and glitter, but I don't go overboard with it because I realize I'm not 12. I want to try the other colors as well, even the blue!

A must try wet or dry. Great for an eyeliner, or as depth eyeshadow. I've been playing with it with a pro make up artist and we can make this the accent or major color. Day to evening. Wow. What a quality product.

I have this is black karat and it is stunning. It has a good amount of sparkle and shimmer and the black base keeps it from looking like stripper make up. Has excellent stay power and doesn't crease. Can be used wet or dry, but I prefer wet as the color goes on more vibrant.

I have brown eyes and dark hair so I ordered the Terracotta. I have been very pleased with my purchase. I also purchased a primer so the eyeshadow lasts all day and it goes from day to night very well in my opinion.
