When I ordered this, I was expecting the product to match the description. Innocent, enough, right? For this particular selection, the mascara was supposed to be black and waterproof when it was actually grey. The eyeliner was silver and smudged terribly. There was nothing wrong with the eyeshadows, they matched the description.

The kit came in a cute packaging with everything you needed to get started. Unfortunately the makeup in the box wasnt that good of quality. I feel like the eye shadow crumbles way too easily and the mascara (brown color) is slightly dry. The eyeliner isnt visble on my eye either and the brush for the eyeshadow is tiny! Also the picture on the box is somewhat misleading because the colors in the box dont match those of the girl on the cover. Even though this is supposed to give you a gold brown smokey eye, the colors it comes with grey and dark brown. No gold in here. There are instructions as to how to do the smokey eye which was kind of nice but I didnt understand some steps.

The product arrived on time and as described. These sets are great if you like the smokey eye look. They fit easily in a purse. So they are easy to have along to touch up your makeup. I donn't like the applicators that come with the sets, but I always carry a small brush set with me anyway. the colors are well pigmented and last a long time. They don't fade fast, so touch ups are easy. the colors blend well and look nice. A definate must have. Linda W.

The charcoal is too dark, the browns too light, the liner is brown which is much too light for a smokey look, the mascara is brown also, the liner and mascara should be black, my eyes barely show up with this liner. The little applicator is garbage, it is too small and not made very well. The picture doesn't match what you get the brown doesn't coma anywhere close to the shade shown on the eye in the picture, plus the picture gives you the impression that the mascara and liner are black when they are not.
