I have tried MANY different eyeliners over the last 25 years of wearing make-up, and must say, this is THE BEST! I like this product and loved the sampling of colors available. Of course, I have my favorites, but depending on your coloring, you may or may not like the same ones that I like. The main point is that they go on beautifully, really smooth and easy to get a nice thin line, or thick, and you can feather it on til you get it right. Smudges nicely, too. You will need a brush to put it on, and I recommend the Smashbox angled brush specifically for this purpose. I don't think I tried the brush that comes with it, but I did use another eyeliner brush and it was okay. Use the angled Smashbox brush and you will LOVE this, it allows you to put on eyeliner like a pro!

A friend bought this for me a few years ago and I LOVED IT... the color palette is great, all the colors are good. There are metallics and creams. The packaging is so sleek and convenient...amazing to have this many colors in one small credit-card sized package. I loved it so much, I repurchased it. I was disappointed the second time. The eyeliner seems not as intense. In particular, the green and the purple shade seem less true. Additionally, it melts off, and moves on my skin more easily. It transfers to my eyelid and to under my eye after an hour or so of wearing it. I still use it, because it was 30something bucks and I can still make it work...by not applying it too thickly, and by blotting my skin with a Qtip when it starts to move & transfer. I won't buy it again, though. Either my skin has dramatically changed in the last 2-3 years, or the Smashbox cream eyeliner formula has changed.
