I searched for quite a while and checked out reviews of many makeup cases before deciding on this case. I love it! It is extremely well-constructed, roomy, and beautiful; not at all ordinary! The trays open without hindering access to other trays or to the lower compartment, which is deep. I ordered the leopard print (my daughter loves it too), although I loved the lavender color also. I'm not concerned about the weight (it's not so heavy) as one reviewer wrote, since I'm not traveling with the case. On the contrary, I like that it's solid, instead of flimsy, like so many other cases out there.

Its great QUALITY everything feels sturdy and it is a very nice case in person. I dont have LOADS of makeup but i have quite an assortment and the train case seemes spacious until i placed my cosmetics in it. Each compactible tray is only large enough for a layer of makeup [cant stack eyeshadows, eye pencils,lipglosses on top of each other] THUS making it NOT AS EFFICIENT as i think it COULD BE. none of the trays are large enough to hold a standard cosmetic brush [this is to give you insight on the dimension of the trays]. However, the bottom of the case is spacious enough to compile other items although it can become cluttered and harder to find items so i just put my bases, brushes and staples in that section.

I definitely reccomend a flexible brush holder with this item. Hope this helped!
