This product isn't remotely moisturizing so I can't figure why they termed it "balm". Incredibly misleading. I'm not sure I'd even call it a tint. Instead of a tinted balm the product resembles a light-weight matte lip color. Slightly more sheer than a full-coverage lipstick but still highly pigmented. I do like the brush tucked inside of the handle; it gives a great, smooth application but I'm not so sure it would be practical on the go. I'm wearing this product as I write this review, and boy do I wish I had some actual balm handy to slap over it.

I received this as an item in my September 2013 Ipsy glam bag. The color is a nice muted red. It's classic and glamorous without going too over the top. If you have a cool complexion, this color will really work well. It's very matte, but it does work well under a gloss. My only complaint is that it does feel a bit dry going on, but it does seem to stay on better than most lipsticks. This item would not work well as a lip balm per se, but it is a fantastic longer lasting lip color.

Listen as soon as I put it on I loved it. It's pigmented and it keeps my lips moistured. It's more of a lipstick though, the more you put on the more red it gets. A+

Perfect red color. Makes teeth look whiter because it is blue based. Glad to know that it is natural & mineral based. I don't want to be ingesting chemicals when licking my lips. I highly recommend this product. The built in brush is perfect for precise application. 5 stars for sure!!!
