The mascara that comes with it is very clumpy but the pencil is nice. I think the colors complement an olive skin one well so if you are darker complexion, this could be a good choice for you.Sunday, August 17, 2014
Tarte TEN Limited Edition Collector's Palette Reviews
Tarte's eyeshadows tend to last. This is my second time purchasing this exact pallet. I'm disappointed that Tarte no longer has this pallet available. I even attempted to contact Tarte to get it back in stock again. Yes I'm that serious. The purple eye liner is to die for. At first it's a bit cakey but if you define it with an eyeliner smudge brush and dab a purple shadow from the case onto the liner it last all day! It makes my brown eyes pop and I always get compliments. Second their Matte Almost Black (A deep dark brown) is the best brow powder out there. I have tried a plethora of brow powders but nothing compares to this shadow. If you have deep dark brown hair on the verge of black I highly recommend you use the Matte Almost Black as a brow powder. You won't regret it. The brush is fairly good and no stray hairs fall out. I love their matte soft beige it's the same as Clinique's buttermilk 101, it's a soft color that gives your brow bone a clean fresh, natural, look. It appears as if you have minimal makeup with the Matte Soft Beige if your going for natural and haven't tweezed your brows. I notice they don't have the colors listed. From Top Left to Right: matte Soft beige, Simmering Silver Gray, Vivid Shimmering Gold, Vibrant Shimmering Copper, Vivid Simmering Amethyst, Shimmering Violet, Matte Almost Black, Deep Simmering Forest Green, Deep Shimmering Chocolate, Vivid Shimmering Teal.
