When I read the reviews about this product before ordering it, I saw others mention that the zipper did not work properly and that they had to exchange for a second one with a working zipper. Well the exact thing happened to me. I ordered it, came with non-functional zipper, sent back and second one came back working perfectly. For the hassle, I took off a star from what I would consider a five star product. I have looked for a while and I was not able to find a cosmetic bag that is wide enough to hold my eye shadow palette among other things and one that is still not too deep, so can be packed easily in a carry on suitcase. The top section that holds brushes is very functional, I really like how I can pull brushes from this part and still access the make up on the lower pocket easily. Also, this is a very pretty pattern, looks very hip. Highly recommend, but be prepared to have to return and wait to get a second one that actually has a working zipper. Also important to note this product is sold for a significantly higher price at other websites and stores.

I honestly thought it would be a little smaller. But when it came and I saw that it was a little bigger than expected, I was actually happy that it was larger. It holds everything I need. I took everything from 3 different makeup containers and put it all I this one.. Love it

I returned this item because the zippers didn't work properly. I am really disappointed because I love the overall design. I still can't find another case that has the brushes on top separate from the rest of the make-up compartment like I want.

I had to return the first cosmetic box due to a faulty zipper. The 2nd works great and makes it so easy to organize make-up brushes, various costmetics, etc. Big enough for the job, but fairly compact.
