I love Nars makeup and have rarely been disappointed, but this color was a tough one. NARS eyeshadows are a typical pigment type that doesn't always blend easily. Dry, they are more subtle; wet, they can be really full-force in color intensity. This color was a tough one for me. I am very fair and my skin can go to peaches and cream/ruddiness and I think it brings out the worst in me. On a darker olive complexion or any dark complexions it might be really attractive but on me it sort of looked like my eyelids were about to bleed from the inside.

I would have given it 5 stars because the pigmentation is phenomenal. It is very dark brown almost black, matte and long wearing. Perfect for contouring eyebrows for those who have sparse eyebrows and have dark hair. Minus one star for the price, when I got this, I thought it would be bigger than what I received. It is tiny. I think my whole thumb is about as long as this with it's container. I don't know how long this will last in my make-up box but for $24, it better last a long time.

I love this as my base over my concealer. I use it under and on my entire eyelid, then follow w/eyeshadow. Doesn't give you raccoon eyes or any hint of shimmer. Just a nice matte base that is smooth to apply and doesn't settle into any lines or creases.

This is a great color for fall and a continual favorite of mine. I love the pigmentation and ease of application. Slight shimmer and beautiful color. Cannot go wrong with NARS eyeshadow!

This is a pretty eyeshadow, very simple and light. It applies whiter than I expected, for some reason I was expecting it to have more gold. It has a quality finish only attainable through expensive shadows like this one. I am excited to have it in my collection!
