I received the Maestro Series 12 piece set as a Christmas gift. I don't normally write reviews, but I felt the need to with this brush. It sheds like crazy! Maybe I received a bad brush, but ugh! I washed the brush before my first use and it shed A LOT! I thought well maybe it won't happen anymore... wrong! It sheds EVERY time that I use it and wash it. I wouldn't recommend this brush. I have the Sigma Large Powder brush (F30) and I love it! I've had it for over 2 years and I've NEVER had problems with shedding. I would definitely recommend it over this brush... it's only a couple dollars more.Now if the shedding doesn't bother you, you might like this brush. It's soft and it gets the job done... you'll just be picking hairs off your face :) Good luck!

I ordered about 12 random brushes from the Bdellium maestro line and this is the only one that I had any trouble with. The first one I ordered had a loose ferule that would make a clicking sound when i used it. Of course Amazon has wonderful customer service so I easily returned it and bought a 2nd one. The second one is shedding hair. In general the brush is not very soft, but it is a good size and does seem to pick up product and distribute it nicely. I think I will be looking for a different alternative.
