Beautiful deep almost burgundy red shade that works

with most skintones. Some might refer to the color as blue/red tone.

Very rich color highly pigmented.

Requires UV lamp treatment as all Gelish products do (unless you own a LED nail lamp which can also be used)

Application is easy and the product self-levels so it is forgiving to inexperienced nail polishers.

Easy to do at home and twice as much product for the money as other similar brands.

Just using the Stand Out color by itself was not really impressive. But when I used one coat of this and a coat of June Bride it never failed to catch attention from my co-workers. Talk about sexy and pretty.

Plus, adding the June Bride on top makes it forgiving to the less than perfect polish application.

If you are looking for a totally classic red, this is it! It reminds me of "Revlon Red". Definitely a fire engine color, not so much a deep red.

The only reason I gave it four stars is because it is quite sheer. Even after three coats I can see a line of dirt if some gets under my nails. It's a great red, though.

UPDATE: after using this color about a dozen times on myself, a friend and my sister I would have to give it only three stars. It chips pretty badly; usually within the first couple of days. It definitely doesn't last as well as the other Gelish colors. I'm going to try some of the other reds and see if those are any better.

I would describe this as fire engine red. Works great. I usually only get polish to last a week or so (operator error) but I am NOT a professional and still working out the kinks to the system. Each time I do my nails it seems to last a little longer and I get a better seal so less peeling from the edges.

I purchased this color looking for a deep burgundy color. The color on the bottle looked like exactly what I was looking for, however when I applied two coats of the polish what I had was more of a Christmas red. Although I love the gelish polishes and this polish color is nice, I am disappointed that it wasn't what I had been looking for.
