the photo shows a brush in one of the compartments, i had sized the box in comparison to the brush. well they must have had a dolls brush in that thing because theres no way in hell a normal brush fits in there, in fact it wouldnt be deep enough either. the compartments are quite shallow, less than 2" deep. the bottom is very big, big enough for about 7 elnett-sized bottles laying on the side or about 2 dozen travel sized bottles standing up, but serves little purpose for makeup.

I received my case with a big dent on the top. I like it despite the dent but I am a little disappointed. The inside lining is also coming apart from the frame of the case. No biggie, I will just hot glue it back together, but for the price I expected better. It is big, which I like, and it locks, a feature I needed to keep my 7 yr. old out of my make up. MUCH bigger than I expected it to be. Good quality and the dividers are sturdy. I don't have a huge amount of makeup so what I have more than fits in this. Would buy it again but would probably get it slightly smaller based on my makeup inventory. This makeup case is amazing for any girl who really loves makeup. I use to keep all of mine in a cheap little caboodle case but I could never find what I wanted fast so I rarely looked inside and just stuck with my regular makeup routine despite the fact I had collected some amazing eyeliners and eyeshadows, etc. I saw this case online and decided that it may just be a way better way to organize and display my collection and it is! I must admit that it was a little bit bigger than I thought it was going to be originally but that actually ended up being a good thing. I love how it folds out so that I can easily organize my makeup and see my options. The only reason I gave it four out of finve stars is I wish it came with some sort of mirror (it would just have been cooler that way) and some of the little dividers are tough to move around. This case helped me organize all of my makeup! the shelves have little pieces that can be removed and made smaller and larger!Had a key also!
