Cheap ANNIKA MAYA Dual Ended Concealer Brush

When going out, I need a short brush for small purses. Though there are smaller brushes, they have cheap caps that break or don't stay on, and it's unsanitary to have an exposed brush so I end up quickly tossing them. Just as difficult, is finding the right bristles and tip. I've found precision tips that I played the Goldilocks game with; if the point is precision tip it's too stiff.

If the brush is nice and soft, the powder seems to just fly away, upon attempted application. I have gone to the extent of shopping at art supply stores, for a natural brush, then chopping the wooden handle in half AGAIN though no cover, which meant washing the brush every couple of days.

This brush is PERFECT holds powder well, and strokes on perfectly, without thinning the makeup.

I don't wear makeup all over my face, only on blemishes or dark spots (I'm a Scottish freckle face) & have not used for liquid based cover up.........so cannot comment on that.

Now for the larger sized brush i have the most difficult time with finding a brush to dab & blend powder concealer under my eyes THIS IS THE BRUSH at it's widest; it is a little over half a cm, and perfectly soft.

Will have to buy more, to always keep in stock.

** I also want to point out that the packaging was a treat in itself the boutique wrapped the item in a bit of bubble wrap, with really cool zebra type tissue paper. The item arrived quickly, and they give a discount code for your next purchase.

This is a palette that will give you a professional look very quickly in the morning. I love that all the colors are put together in one palette so I don't have to go through 10 different individual jars when I'm in a hurry. The pigmentation, even on the mattes, is very decent (it can easily be built up, I always wear primer with it). The metallics are fantastically pigmented. I even wore eyeshadows fom this palette through a 75-minute extremely intense (and sweaty) workout and they still looked great afterwards (minimal creasing even if droplets of sweat were literally dripping from my face). It's a wonderful collection of neutral shades that I reach for very often and that still give me great variety in terms of looks. I love it!

I like this palette one of my colors was broken when it arrived and all over the others so I didn't get a chance to use it but other than that I love this thing. A girl can never go wrong with all these colors. And I am a african american woman and the color pigment shows up good on my complexion would recommend this for any beginner in make up like myself.

The bag I thought was a bit pricey, however when I recieved it I fell in love with how big it actually was. The material is great! looks and feels like it will last me a lifetime. The outside of the bag has large enough compartments to keep products handy like hairspray, combs, spray bottles (there is a elastic cord that goes around the whole bag to keep items in the oustide compartments secured when not in use). The inside of the bag has enough room to keep everything I need close at hand. The strap is pretty conforable (depending on how heavy the bag is it could use a padded shoulder for support). At the moment keep all my Paul Mitchell styling products on the outside and Paul Mitchell tools organized inside 2 blowdryers, 2 curling irons 1 straightener, a baggie of clips and various other tools. Great buy, I will buy one for my sister when she passes her state board exam next month :)

If you are a stylist or just a girl with a lot of hair product, this is for you. Sturdy, reliable, evenly distributes the weight so carrying in your hands is comfortable. I can't bear anymore stress on my shoulders so that was important to me. In it I currently have: my scissors, elchim blow dryer, extensions glue gun, 3 sizes of curling irons, a regular and mini flat iron, 2 small round brushes, 4 sizes med-lg round brushes 2 paddles, various combs (there are bands that keep these items in place on the outter pockets) Hairspray, general blow out spray, a volumizer, texturizer, dry shampoo, bottle of oil, a heat mat, and an extension cord. I still have room. enough said.

I use this as an everyday eye shadow. I received a free sample through Bzz Agent. It took me a couple tries to figure out how to use the applicator, but I finally got the hang of the "one sweep" method. The brown on the lid wasn't as dark as I hoped so I usually have to apply it twice. It wears okay, but I usually need to touch up at lunch time. Overall, a good idea, but the applicator can be a bit cumbersome.

The colors are nice, but the applicator and build only works in theory. I still had to use a regular brush to apply the way it should be applied. Good for getting a 3 in one compact, but don't think it'll make your morning/evening routine any easier.

I love this brush! Talk about a densely packed angled brush! I bought it to apply eyebrow powder, and it is def the best one I have ever had. Works just as great as an eyeliner brush. The handle is awesome as well, you get a much better grip which allows for a more precision application. It is so soft, and looks so expensive, but it was cheap! I am a product/tool junkie and I would highly recommend it!

These came about 2 weeks earlier than expected. They are a good size for 3d nail art, but might be too big for some people. i wear my nails long, so this is not an issue. the only thing that made this a 4 and not a 5, is that a lot of the stones are cocked to the side. not enough to make a huge difference, but enough that they scratch if hit the right way. otherwise, loving these bows!!

Make-up Alley gave this foundation the worst reviews I've ever read for base. I disagree with any bad review of this foundation. Firstly, it is not a cream to powder foundation. It is a solid cream foundation with the kind of consistancy you'd expect from a cream based foundation that would normally be applied with a sponge (not that you can't use a brush, but I feel a sponge applies it best.) I used a more professional sponge (6 sided, slanted wedge.) The less you stroke the sponge across the cream the better. It's easy to use too much, initially swipping the sponge too many times across the cream. 1 or 2 swipes with a light hand is enough for half the face, another 2 swipes or so for the second half. If you start off heavy handed this foundation will look too thick and cakey, exagerating lines and pores. When applied correctly it covers and wears well looking rather natural. I don't advise trying to build with layers. You need to get it right the 1st time so it may take some experimenting to get it just right, but when you do get it just right, it's a very fine quality foundation for the money (I got it on sale in Target for $8.00.) My choice was Warm Beige #90. It's exactly my skin tone: not too yellow nor too pink. It appears much darker in the compact compared to the actual payoff on the skin, but most cream based foundations act this way as they are concentrated within the compact and that concentration will make it look darker. I'm not saying this is the best foundation I've ever used. There are others which I like more, but they cost quite a bit more also. I'd recommend this for a drier skin type and for cooler weather as well. It's definitely too emollient for normal to oily skin. It's best for normal to dry skin. It has a satin/moist finish unless you powder it down which I recommend as powder will increase it's ability to hold up. Cream blush is a must for this foundation, applied before powdering it down. It's the "Helioplex" SPF 55 which can make this base seem on the oilier side, but it is the highest SPF base I'm aware of particularly the superior sunsceen (Heliplex) which is patented to Neutrogena. The sreening of UVA rays (which are more ageing rays compared to UVB) is what makes Helioplex so great. It screens UVA better and with the ability to do so longer than any other sunsreen out there except for La Roche-Posay Anthelios which is not included in any foundation I'm aware of as it's meant for direct application to the skin from the container. This is an exceptional foundation for the money and the superiority of the patented SPF 55. It may take a few tries to get it right, but when it's used correctly it gives a definite aesthetic improvement to the skin with anti-ageing benifits from it's SPF. A solid 4 star rating as far as I'm concerned and if you need high sun protection post peel/surgery or you're using aggresive skincare (Retinol, Retin-A, Glycolic Acid) then this foundation becomes even more beneficial.

Addendum: If you are not satisfied with a liquid or cream based foundation's wearability use a powder like Revlon's ColorStay Pressed or for high end, Dior's Forever pressed powder. I don't usually like transfer resistant foundations as they seem to emphasize the skin texture you apply it to. IE; dry skin can look drier, pocked skin can look moreso and wrinkled skin can be exagerated. They are convenient because they stay on so long without need for touch-up, but I feel they are best for young almost perfect skin. The addition of just the longwearing, transfer resistant powders do not have this affect as they are much more sheer than matching foundations.

I love this makeup. I'm fair skinned and really wanted something to protect me from the sun, but I'm really particular about the quality of makeup I wear. I don't want to look like I'm wearing makeup--this fits the bill perfectly. It gives great coverage and lasts all day. I don't feel greasy like one of the other reviewers, but I have dry/combination skin. I wear a moisturizer underneath and this just makes my skin look smooth and clean.

This is an excellent product. It helped to even out my skin tone and protect me from the sun. It is best for oily skin because of the way it picks up dryness. It can really make any flaky or dry patches stand out, so look out for a good moisturiser if you have dry or normal skin types. But overall, best drugstore foundation I have bought in a while.

I love this new neutrogena compact makeup kit. It comes with a sponge and mirror. My downfalls for it would have to be that it there's only about a centimeter of it in the top lid even though it looks like a lot and that it only lasts for a about four hours then slowly fades away, especially if you have a habit of touching your face. Although it doesn't last as long as other makeup I've tried, it does give your face a healthy glow without caking it on, it makes my zits seem smaller and a lot less noticeable, and it has SPF 55 in it which gives me confidence that it protects my skin from the sun. It's easy to carry with you where ever you go, it makes my face feel softer, and I can feel it treating my zits mildly while I wear it. Even though I'm not even in my twenties yet, I would recommend this to anyone with relatively young skin that has severe acne and wants softer facial skin.

Neutrogena used to have a powder with a high sun protection, this product is creamy. I actually preferred the powder, but I am happy to find a high SPF factor. Colour is a good match.

Because the makeup is thin (to be used in an airbrush) it leaks out of the dropper tip if you shake them too hard (into the lid with the lid on). I have incredibly dry skin, and lots of freckles that I like to cover up.

This product is nice, it feels very light even though it provides great full coverage.

Because I need more coverage I have found that I am running out of this make up about 2-3 times faster than I had anticipated, which is disappointing, because it is hardly inexpensive for a gal who uses L'Oreal happily. A bottle of their foundation lasts me 2-3 months for the same price

The Satin finish does make my skin look unpleasantly greasy too, so I have to apply powder over it, but I actually think that helps keep it in place longer, so it might not be such a bad thing.

I don't think I will but this again, but it is a decent product.

I bought this blush at walgreens, about $7.00. Its very beautiful shimmery gold-pink, goes on smoothly and highly blendable. I think this hue would look good on any skin tone, not glittery at all. The brush isn't too good, so I suggest you use your own round blush brush with this one:)
