I have used Dior products for many years until about 3 years ago. I retired and decided to cut expenses. BUT...I loved the Dior eyebrow pencil so very much and couldn't find it anywhere. Everything is powder now, which I don't particularly care for. Dior's pencil in Chestnut is the only one that really suits me and finding it on Amazon was nothing short of a miracle. I am extremely happy with my purchase.

The Dior Eyebrow Powder Pencil is a great instrument in shaping and filling in brows. The color was true to the color swatches shown on the site and it applies easily and I had no problem using it on my sensitive skin. I chose the blond 653 color and I am well pleased with its performance.

My sisters recommended this to me so I thought I would try it. They have each had their for about 5 years now and are only now just thinking of replacing it, i.e., it lasts a very long time. The texture takes just a little getting used to, as you would expect from any product like this. But I got the hang of it the first try, so it is by no means a steep learning curve. I like that it comes with a sharpener and that one end is a spoolie for easy grooming. What I love the most about mine is that it is black. I'm Asian and my brows are black; they aren't gray, they aren't black/brown, they are black. To me, that means I should use a black pencil to fill them in. I don't know of any other manufacturer that produces black and have heard that black looks "too harsh" from all of the magazines, makeup artists, etc. But in my experience, when I use black/brown or gray, the color stands out and looks odd and obvious. This pencil is a very wearable black, it fills in my brows so that they aren't washed out and look just a little thicker/fuller. It does NOT look like that episode of Seinfeld where they use a black sharpie!

This is the best eyebrow pencil I have ever used (and I have used a few) it is expensive but worth every penny...it lasts for a very long time because you only need to use light strokes to get an amazing result. This makes my eyebrows look perfect and as natural as possible. It's a powder pencil so it's very easy to blend and lasts all day

I am a dark blonde and this pencil matches the natural color of my disappearing eyebrows perfectly! I have tried many cheaper drugstore brands and most of them have undesirable reddish tones and are waxy, resulting in a fake drawn on look. This pencil is powdery soft if you keep the point sharp it feathers on beautifully and the spiral brush blends nicely for a natural appearance. I keep my pencil sharp and even so it lasts for at least six months. Pricey yes, but it sure beats going without eyebrows. As long as they make this pencil, I will continue to buy it.
