I had doubts but this little sponge turned out to be great, easy to use and easy to wash...doesn't flake up and crumble after quite bit of use-age I do recommend to friends. (works best wet warm water, but not dripping wet)

It is small and works well with foundation. However it is a little hard even when wet. I like the stiffness because it does not absorb too much product. This is great for a light application.

It looks SIMILAR to the photo but not exactly what I expected. When I got it it smelled a little weird but that went away mostly after I had washed it a bit. It is also a little stiffer than what I expected but it does the job better than my other makeup sponges.
