This compact is not perfect but works OK if you are careful and make an adjustment to the sifter. First, I put masking tape over all but 3 holes before filling it to prevent the powder from migrating too much into the middle section while it's bouncing around in my purse. Otherwise there will be too much powder under the lid when you open it. Secondly, I don't fill it too full of powder, probably about half it's capacity. And lastly make sure you do not yank open or close the middle lid too abruptly (the one that closes over the sifter) or the powder may spill or poof out. The brush is not very soft and doesn't work as well as a kabuki, so I carry one of the baby buki brushes from a sample kit instead. It has a nice sized mirror and I think the compact size is pretty good bc its about the same size as some other powder compacts I have. I've read in other reviews that powder leaks have been a problem but I have 2 of these now (one for translucent powder and one for bronzer) and I've not had any issues so far. So overall it's an OK travel compact, this $8.99 price is decent for what you get, I got mine on eBay for about the same, but I wouldn't pay the original $20 price bc it is definitely not worth that much.

It's a very secure compact and really easy to add the makeup to. Only complaint is the brush. It's not the best, but it still does the job. A little pricey, but still worth the purchase, in my opinion. Much better than those cheap pressed powder compacts, for sure.

I love this mirror compact.
I blended my own powders which is a mix of bronzer loose powder and matte foundation loose powder
and it's perfect for me. I use the brush that comes with it mainly for my neck area
and I use my tube twist up brush I carry in my handbag makeup case for work from the
chin and jaw line up.
