I can store all of my brushes in this thoughtfully designed brush case. I like how the top flaps over to protect the brush bristles. The case conveniently folds into thirds. Black shiny finish, secures snugly with velcro. Silver Japonesque logo on front.Zippered pouch good for extra sponge tip applicators or perhaps, blotting tissues. Unlike some reviewers, I do not think this case is too long. 9.5"long x 5"wide when folded, this case will fit easily into my travel carry-on. I am happy with my purchase. Didn't have to spend tons $ on a brush case. It can be difficult to find a decent one without having to buy the brushes too.

I bought this set,but the slots for the brushes were oversized and the brushes would just fall out. I returned it and will pursue my search for the perfect brush bag.

This is such a good quality make up brush case. It looks different from the picture on amazon. The material looks way better then the picture and it also has a zipper compartment! its like a size of a clutch purse. The reason why I gave this a 4 star because it didn't have that little pocket for a kabuki in the amazon picture and the zipper pocket isn't as big and the clutch wish it was the size of the whole clutch part. But other then that I absolutely love my purchase thank you!

I love this item it is completely sleek and beautiful, however I am not a make up artist so I have no need for this. I am opting for something much smaller and way more simpler than this. The only complaint I have over this item it is that mine would not close evenly. I do not know if it was because I only had 7 brushes and this fits 9 or maybe I was not doing it right, regardless this actually is a very good product.

I was looking for a long time for a brush case, and I thought I found the perfect one. Unfortunatelly this one is too big for my brushes. When I place them inside there was a lot of space above, 3/4 of the brush lenght was in the pocket. My longest brush is 7.5 inch (19cm), the rest range from 4.5 to 6 inch (11 to 15 cm). I wish I measured the case but it must`ve been 9-10 inch (+-25cm) long. It has a look of envelope purse, overall nice quality, with 2 pockets (see the picture), but I was looking for something smaller and portable.I didn`t want to keep it for only one long foundation brush I barely use. Maybe they sent me a long one, but price matches this one.

I finally found a Sephora slim brush case (as I wanted new blush brush), with 5 brushes (very good quality) but I can fit 9 of them inside (two pockets are big enough for 2 slim brushes, plus one is good for spoolie). Perfect size, lightweight.

Too bad there`s no measurements for Japonesque case, maybe email the seller before? I returned mine.
