At the time that I am reviewing this product, it's $99. I can't fathom spending that much on a foundation.... however, I picked this up a few months ago at Bigelow for $48. At the $48 price, this deserves ten stars. It blends really well. It melts into the skin. As it goes on, it feels lovely. This product is actually a pleasure to apply. It feels like silk. It has a creamy consistency and applies completely flawless. It offers light to medium coverage, and it is buildable. It's glowy, not really matte. It never looks cakey. It doesn't dry me out, either. I have pretty sensitive skin that is prone to breaking out. The first week that I used this, I broke out a little bit, but I did not have any problems as I continued to use it.
I do like the packaging-squeezable tubes are nice for foundation. There is a cap issue; the product tends to leak within the cap. I don't want something this expensive leaking out and drying inside the cap. I tape over the opening inside the cap to fix this.
I'll end by saying that I'm not a big fan of liquid foundation. I stick to my Laura Mercier powder foundation because it's easy to apply and hard to screw up. I've tried Mac, Dior, Chanel, and Laura Mercier liquid foundations and tinted moisturizers. I'm not fond of them. In comparison to powder foundation, they are fussy to apply and too much effort for me. For the three months that I had this product, I used it non-stop. I looked forward to applying it every morning. I finished the tube. This product is very special.
Will I be buying another one at the $99 price? I'll seriously consider it.
