I love this; it's great for designs, a very thin blade, well made/sturdy, and it comes with oil,a large and small brush. This will make things much easier compared to the large trimmer. Also there is a long outlet cord, that's almost always a problem for me.

We did a fundraiser where guys would sell the opportunity to shave their heads/beards into a creative design. Nothing worked as well as these for detail work. They were strong enough to handle tough beard hair as well without pulling. Basically people couldn't get enough of them, and the two I had were on constantly for 2 hours without a hiccup or a single nick of heads. Other clippers were cutting people left and right, but even in inexperienced hands these were safe.

The only downside is that they obviously only get as close as a clipper, and there was some discomfort cutting close on sensitive facial areas.
