** UPDATED REVIEW -OK, I've been using this brush and while I stand by my comment that the nub is awkward in the palm and not the best choice...I give the brush itself high marks! **
For me the Balm's Mini Kabuki Brush is just too small for use applying mineral makeup, which is why I bought it. It's a great brush, excellent bristles, etc...but something about the nub handle just doesn't work for me. I also wish it came in a better storage cannister to preserve between uses. However, the quality of this mini-brush makes me want to try out a full size kabuki brush from Balm.
it's good for your makeup bag to travel with .

The dimensions of the brush are not mentioned. It is very tiny. Less than 2 inches in height and around 0.75 inches width. For me its the perfect size for my travel makeup purse and it was just what I was looking for!Reviews of e.l.f. Baked Eyeshadow, 0.12 Ounce

I have all the colors except for dusk (plus several of the newer ones) and I really like them! They apply smoothly and blend easily and give you a refined eye look. I especially like using Bark for a one-shade look: more concentrated on the lid and then blended through the crease just gorgeous! For $3 each on the ELF website, I don't think you'll regret trying these.I have not found this eyeshadow to be as good as the regular line. It's a lovely color IN the compact, but regardless of which application tool I used to try to apply it, all I really did was add a lot of shine and shimmer to my lids. There was almost no color deposited AT ALL. I will not be purchasing anymore of these and will stick with the standard Elf shadows instead.

I discovered this product through a professional make up application at a spa. Once I learned how to re-create the look with the correct eyebrow brush, I can easily replicate the professional application. I use this product every day, and highly recommend it over using eye brow pencils if you seek a natural look. I cannot speak to another's reviewers experience with shipping; I bought my products directly from the spa at prices comparable to other websites, or retail locations.
it does not come with a brush although the ad copy made it look like one was

I got this brow powder when I died my hair more of an auburn color. I had already been using Laura Mercier Brow Powder but in a different color. I love the dual colors because it allows you to adjust for your own shade. Also, it's light enough that you don't look like a super villain with crazy dark eyebrows. I won't ever be using a different brow powder.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Laura Mercier Brow Powder Duo
This is a great brow powder duo. I have medium brown hair and the dark blonde works for me. I like to use the light color to fill in my brows and then go back in with the darker color and define my arch a bit more. This powder last all day, doesn't fade or smudge, and has good pigmentation. The only reason why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I wish the light color were a bit more ashy, its a lil on the warm side but all in all its a great product to define your brows. I would recommend this.Buy Sigma Cleansing & Polishing Tool

Loving this! My face feels so clean can't go a day without it!! Don't know why it took me so long to get it!Cheap Milani Minerals Loose Makeup Talc-Free Powder .35 oz (10 g)
I bought this foundation to cover up some acne marks that popped up on my face from my recent attempt to become a vegetarian and it works wonders! I never needed makeup before because I have always had very clear skin...so I freaked when all of the bumps started popping up! In panic mode I searched amazon for a good mineral foundation that isn't expensive and this makeup is wonderful! It covers all of my blemishes and marks with no problem and once it sets it is very natural looking and breathable. For this price you have no reason not to buy this makeup. I hope it works just as great for everyone else as it does for me. 5 stars!

I bought this mainly because I wanted to try a loose powder w/as much coverage as my Cover Girl Pressed Powder. Based on the reviews, I decided to buy it. It's ok but I was expecting a more natural look. It might be that my skin is a little oily, I don't know, but it makes me look shiny. NOT the healthy glow shiny, more like the sweaty look shiny. I tried it w/foundation....BAD IDEA, especially around the nose area! It cakes up and I literally have to wipe it off. Again, it might be MY skin. I can kind of see why it might work on a more "normal" skin tone. Overall, not too bad, but not great either! I went back to my long time pressed powder and still on the search for a more natural mineral(with coverage) loose powder.Honest reviews on Milani Minerals Loose Makeup Talc-Free Powder .35 oz (10 g)
I'm a huge mineral makeup fan...and this makeup hangs with the best of them. It looks beautiful, radiant, and very very, natural. If you have dry skin like me, don't shy away from using powder! What I've learned to do is to simply prime my face with a little sweet almond oil (which I also purchase on Amazon) before applying the mineral makeup. It works wonders. (Tip: If you need move coverage, try mixing the Milani Minerals with a little powdered concealer. I use one from "Skinn" cosmetics and it looks incredible...I'm talking about the look of flawless skin, ladies).Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Milani Minerals Loose Makeup Talc-Free Powder .35 oz (10 g)
This is my 3rd time buying this and I LOVE IT! I even threw out my Bare Naturale! This powder covers completely and illuminates your skin at the same time. I have never seen a powdered foundation do both before. You also seem to get more product from this than Bare Naturale anyway. I hope Amazon at least continues to sell this because I will continue to keep buying it!Physicians Formula Foundation, Cosmeceutical Youth-Boosting Review

Joan Rivers Beauty Great Hair Day Fill in Powder- Brunette Reviews
Been using this about a year and would never be without it!
In a pinch, I used regular dark eyeshadow. It ended up rubbing it all over my pillow and even on my hand whenever I rubbed my head. Embarrassing...
Good Hair Day DOES NOT RUB OFF EASILY like regular eyeshadow. It's buildable and stays put a for days. In fact if I go 3 days without washing my hair (lightly touching up), on the fourth day I pay extra close attention to cleaning my scalp because the powder will still be there if I don't.
Great stuff and will buy again!
I have frontal thinning. As such, hair thickeners such as Toppik and Caboki are NOT recommended--they are basically powder fibers that you sprinkle on your head, and you wind up with a sharp change in color at the hairline--that classic "Dracula" hairline. Because Joan's product is applied to the scalp, it acts to create a shadow effect in your hair. You have to have surrounding hair to hide the fact that you have dark smudges on your scalp...but if you do, it works reasonably well. I've asked my husband if he can tell I have the product in my hair, especially since my thinning is up front. I have a thin hairline, and the spots I fill are directly behind the hairline. Hubby says he cannot tell. If you stand up close to me and look closely, you WILL see the product. But most people will not be that close, and even up close, you have to be looking to spot it.
The product takes time to put on. You cannot simply smear it onto your scalp the way you smear eye shadow on your lids--if you do, the world will know you're wearing this stuff. You have to do a dab-dab-dab motion in order to keep it looking natural. Move a section of hair, dab dab dab, and move on to the next section. To cover the front of my scalp takes 5-7 minutes. If you're particularly thin up front, it will take several efforts to become expert enough to make the stuff look like shadows instead of obvious black smudged in your hair.
I have not had problems whatsoever with the product running from sweat during workouts, or getting caught in the rain, or swimming--and I've indeed done all of the above. However, running your hands through your hair or scratching your scalp WILL end with black on your fingers or fingernails. In fact, I've noticed that I have to clean my nails often--I get dirty blackness behind them every day.
I tried Caboki in hopes that I could circumvent the downsides of this product. Caboki is similar to Toppik. At least for me, these types of hair thickeners are not an option. Besides being incredibly messy (you sprinkle it on you head, and so the powder winds up EVERYWHERE), it also is VERY obvious if the area you are covering is frontal. Those products will work much better for someone who has top or back balding, and has enough surrounding hair to hide it.
I'm coming back now for my first refill of Joan's product. It's not perfect. But short of a transplant, it's the best I've found yet for frontal thinning.
I am a 33 year old female with female pattern thinning in my hair. (Thanks, heredity!)
I cannot even express to you the frustration and sadness that I feel that I have to even use products like this...
So in my search of finding non-invasive solutions to my hair thinning problem, a friend recommended this to me. I have light brownish/reddish hair and so I purchased the blonde option (according to the information, the "blonde" color is the most versatile, they say to not use the "light blonde" option unless you're a platinum blonde)...and it came real dark. Basically a brown. Which was ok with the roots of my hair, and my roots are pretty light brown.
Here is what I noticed:
1. It STINKS. Some people may think it's an "okay smell"... but it essentially smells very STRONG and like rotten baby powder. IT SMELLS LIKE OLD WOMEN'S HAIR....wait, maybe old women's hair smells that way because they use this?! Anyway, I was seriously sooo self-conscious the first several days of using this product because the smell was so strong.
2. It goes on really thick. It's like a big "splat" on your head that is very noticeable. Maybe the best word I can describe it is "BLOTCHY". While watching youtube videos on this product, I noticed that the person showing the demonstration would dab the brush into the powder and then tap it several times before putting the brush on her scalp. YOU HAVE TO DO THAT. You have to tap the powder off because for some odd reason (maybe it's a really cheap formula?) if you don't do that, you get a very noticeable blotch. And it is a thick enough powder that it REALLY accentuates your hair follicles so here I am, with lighter hair, having black dots showing on my scalp. REAL nice....
3. It's just weird. I don't know if it's a cheaper type of powder, but most...wait, ALL... of my beauty products don't have that type of consistency. It's light, yet oily.
4. Because I had to tap the powder, the dark powder easily got into other things in my bathroom. And one time I scatched my head and touched my face and lo and behold I had a dark streak on my face. The product purports that it won't transfer onto other things like your pillow, clothes, etc. NOT TRUE.
5. In an act of absolute frustration one day, I grabbed my eye shadow (Maybelline Stylish Smokes 225S "Made for Mocha") and brushed it onto my scalp at my part. It worked! I have been using it ever since. It doesn't transfer onto everything like Joan Rivers' powder did. The eye shadow covers my scalp wonderfully without getting blotchy or weird. And it seems to last all day just fine.
I will continue to just use my Maybelline eyeshadow in lieu of anything else. Overall, putting something on your scalp is a good idea. It definitely gives the appearance of filled in hair. You can get really close to my head and NEVER notice I used something on my part. I do it every day and it takes only a few seconds.
Also I am hoping to do a hair transplant (which will only be about $6k) by the end of 2013. I am currently using the HairMax Laser Comb and Men's Rogaine foam.....we'll see how it all goes..
I hate this hair loss crap as a female. Hate it!

Seriously. Joan discovered the use of eye shadow for her scalp, just like some people also use eye shadow for filling in sparse eyebrows. My suggestion is: find an inexpensive eye shadow at the store like I did to hide my scalp and gray hair between coloring. (I didn't get the idea from Joan.)If you think it won't work as well, go for what Joan offers but understand it's just a pigmented powder you can find anywhere...even on Amazon.Honest reviews on Joan Rivers Beauty Great Hair Day Fill in Powder- Brunette
I have purchased this product because my hair is thinning at the front of the crown. I am using it, but it does rub off on your fingers and it does run if you sweat from your head/forehead. I have tried other products and so far this is fair compared to the others. You need to address the problems of this hair care product. Running down your forehead if you sweat, caught in the rain, rubbing off on your fingers if you touch your scalp, running off if you go swimming and get your hair wet and so on.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Joan Rivers Beauty Great Hair Day Fill in Powder- Brunette

I love this mascara it adds length and volume and looks amazing. Not sure about the reviews from others saying not waterproof? Um there is probably not a mascara more waterproof. I mean you can go swimming in the ocean all day and it will not come off. Some say it's to waterproof but to me there is no such things. I hate touch ups. I have tried the Dior and other brands and this is my favorite.Review of NYX Auto Eyebrow Pencil
I have always used the little wax/powder combo kit from N.Y.C. for my eyebrows, and it worked alright, but I tend to have a heavy hand and my brows usually looked too dark... even though my eyebrows are actually black, they just looked kind of fake if I wasn't super careful. Who has the time in the morning to dedicate to that? I just received this yesterday, and used it this morning... wow. I will never go back to the wax/powder kit. You have so much control using the pencil. I purchased this NYX pencil in dark brown. I have very sparse brows. They look good using this. My hair is dark brown, so it really looks natural on me. You can't really distinguish the difference between the pencil and my real eyebrow hairs (brown vs. black). You can really use a heavy hand with this, and it takes a while to darken. Not very waxy either, but it doesn't distribute a lot of color either. The wax also helps my eyebrows keep their shape. It just gives you a lot of control. Maybe I'm being too detailed, but I had never used an eyebrow pencil before this, so I'm amazed at how much simpler my makeup routine (and some confidence) could have been for the last few years if I had used something like this. And it's so affordable, and sharpens itself, which is a huge plus to me. The tip is thick; not thin or sharp. As I think I remember one reviewer stating, it's like coloring with a crayon. It gives you the ability to really control how dark or light you want your brows to look; gives you lots of control. I almost spent $15 on the MAC eyebrow pencil, but I'm glad now that I didn't. Maybe the MAC pencil would be better, but this gets the job done for 1/3 of the price. I'm very happy with it. I should also mention that I have extremely oily skin, and it has held up for over 9 hours now, so I'm confident that it will hold up all day without a problem. The wax kit I was using would sometimes get sort of goopy as my skin got oily throughout the day. This is holding up very well. Definitely worth the purchase!

I am picky with brow pencils mainly because most can look fake or wear out quickly. I originally used a brow pencil I got from sephora for $12. Although it was a great brow pencil, it was quickly used and I was wanting to find a pencil that would last much longer. The NYX brow pencil works just as well as other expensive pencils. I have been using it for about 2 months and it still has ways to go before I throw it away. It stays on all day and it does not look fake. It blends very well.Best Deals on NYX Auto Eyebrow Pencil
This is great--it looks natural on my formerly very dark brown eyebrows, now threaded with white hairs. It isn't too black or very gray--more of a dark mushroom color. The little brush on the tip is useful, although I keep getting confused and pulling it off instead of the cap. The product is sort of a flat-tipped wax pencil--you can trace on individual hairs or just fill in shadows under sparser areas. It stays put on my sweaty, greasy summer face, too--other kinds will end up smearing or disappearing. Sometimes, I do use a clear brow gel over it to keep my arches arched, which helps, but even without, there is some hold from the wax. A great product at a great price!Honest reviews on NYX Auto Eyebrow Pencil
After two long years, I've finally found a comparable replacement for Expert Eyes Charcoal Grey brow pencil. It's not the exactly the same, mind you, but it's at least comparable far more than others I've tried (& there have been many) & I can live w/ it. The color goes on smoothly & stays on; also, no sharpener required just twist the pen & you're ready to go. The delivery for this item is actually really fast, probably the quickest I've seen from an Amazon supplier. So, it's a win-win all around.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for NYX Auto Eyebrow Pencil

I assumed that I was sent an older version of the Smash box High Definition Healty FX foundation. I also compared the ingredients. The product I was sent does not have the same ingredients as the one previously owned. Then I began examining the consistency. I noticed that the product in the bottle was not evenly distributed instead it looked clumpy. I began to shake the bottle vigorously for 2 minutes. After that I applied a little to my hand and the product was very watery. I will not be applying this to my face

Teal Tease Studio Cream Eyeliner is exactly what I was hoping for; it's a super bright, metallic blue-green color that looks fantastic on any shade of skin. As for the little brush it comes with: it's not the greatest in the world, but it does the job (and hey, it's free!). It's so small I just keep it in my purse in case I need any touch-ups.
This eyeliner is very creamy and easy to apply--unlike some cream liners I've used, where you practically have to dig it out and keep going back for more after each brush stroke. Obviously, if you touch any makeup when it's still wet it's going to smear, but once this one is dry it stays put all day long. Sometimes, I put a dab of a similar shade of blue eyeshadow over it for extra staying power.
The shade of greenish-blue is by far the prettiest that I've seen, and I get compliments on it all the time. For most people I would advise using in moderation, as it is very vibrant and it's easy to go overboard with blue in particular.
I would definitely recommend looking for this at a department store that carries e.l.f. (like Target) before purchasing online so that you can save the outrageous shipping charges--this brand of makeup is usually only $1 $5 or so in stores. I'll surely be getting more of this eyeliner once I run out.

Although I did not spend much on this product, I thought it was extremely weak. The liner was thin and did not apply black, but translucent.Best Deals on e.l.f. Cream Eyeliner
This is probably the worst cream liner I have ever used. No matter how many brushes I tried, it comes out translucent and barely dark grey, much less the black thats promised. It smudges and looks like a cheap mess, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS PRODUCT.Honest reviews on e.l.f. Cream Eyeliner
MAC better watch out! I was shocked at how good this stuff was. Its super creamy and it lasted ALL day. Will buy again for sure!Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for e.l.f. Cream Eyeliner
I bought this and was a tad skeptical because I got it to last me until I was able to get more of my regular MAC fluidline. I was surprised that it was great quality and easy to apply. I will definitely repurchase!!Reviews of CoverGirl Outlast Double Lipshine, Coral Shimmer 285
Unfortunately this product is no longer for sale in stores. It has two applicators to coat your lips for a lasting creamy lipstick that does not come off on surfaces such as coffee cups.I discovered this gloss in a store a long time ago, it is discontinued, but I still like it more than some expensive products.

I've used it before, and love it. I have eye allergies, and other powders make my eyes water all day long. This one is truly hypoallergenic.

This powder make-up goes on with ease and doesn't look like make-up, reasonably priced compared to others that I've used.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Almay Nearly Naked Loose Powder, Light 100, 1-Ounce Packages (Pack
With difficult skin conditions, I prefer Almay products, and this powder works well for me, better than the compact powder.
