This is a great brush set with quality brushes. I do have mixed thoughts about it--but overall, it is a great set.
Pros: I love how the brushes are small and fit very easily into your purse or bag if you are on the go. The brushes are all very good quality--the brushes that apply powders are made of natural hair and are incredibly soft.
Cons: The set is pricey, but I guess when compared to other artistry line brush sets, it is priced about the same. My suggestion would be to make sure that you really like each brush before you invest in this set.
Review of each brush:
Cheek ColorWhile made of natural hair and very soft, brush loses some of the hair even when I wash it gently. (I wash my brushes every 3 months.)
Double-Ended Eye BrowHonestly, I never use this brush and I wish Laura would have included a more practical brush. It basically looks like a mascara wand (you can get away with using an old, clean wand from your mascara instead.)The opposite side is coarse brush and not very useful in my opinion.
Eye ColorThis is a good, basic eye color brush. It tends to be a bit stiffer than some other eye brushes from Chanel, Bobbi Brown and MAC that I have tried, but overall, it is a good brush.
Eye CreaseI LOVE THIS BRUSH! It applies darker colors perfectly in the crease of your eye lid! It is the perfect shape and size and I USE this brush EVERY day.
Flat Eye LinerThis is also a great brush and works well with Laura's cake eye liner.
Secret CamouflageThis is a good brush that I use to cover blemishes. If I'm on the run, I also use it to apply my concealer. The brush did separate from the handle after about 7 months of use, which was disappointing because I take very good care of my brushes.
Lip LinerA great brush, although I wish it had a lid like other lip brushes, so I could take it in my purse and not have the color from my last lip application smear all over my purse.
