I've owned this brush for many, many years, but recently purchased another following my lasik surgery as I had to get rid of all my old brushes and makeup. I love the way this works with shadow as liner, perfect lines. The brush is soft, yet holds it shape over a lot of wear and tear. I love this brush to "push" eyeshadow as eyeliner on my lids. Nars coconut grove eyeshadow is awesome btw as a liner when you use this brush. The brush is stiff enough to do the job in a thin and precise manner. You can literally stamp on eyeliner, or push onto lid or gently place and sweep. I have not used this brush with gel liner since I use my MAC 266 for that. Plus this brush is white and I don't want to go through the hassle of trying to get it clean. I hate stained brushes. I use dove soap, baby shampoo or my face cleanser Cetaphil (yes lolalso great for cleaning foundation covered brushes). This, the smudge brush and yachiyo are my fav nars brushes
