Loved this City Base (Ivory Bisque) and used it for years ($29) it's been replaced by a more expensive "some so-called better foundation" in a mirrored compact, that I don't like at all. The new and "improved" stuff is a dryer foundation that requires extra foundation for suitable coverage. With 5 days a week use, my compact has already hit the bottom -after less than 60 days.

I've used Cityblock for years, it has SPF 15, and goes on really smoothly, creating a flawless skin look. You can control the coverage.

I started when my skin was normal, and now it's dry, and the base works for both skin types, although it might be a little heavy for very oily skin. It stays on all day, and is pretty sweat-proof. I've tried other foundations and this one does the best job for me of looking like no make up but great skin!

It comes with a flat sponge applicator, though I prefer to use the pie shaped ones from the beauty supply store for more precise application.
