I really like this foundation now but didn't at first. It takes a little longer to apply than a liquid foundation but once you get use to blending it well it works great at covering up redness & evening out your skin tone. I recommend buying a bag of those disposable wedge sponges that you use & toss unless you wash the sponge it comes with often. To set this foundation I use Loreal True Match Super Blendable powder but deffinately do not use the sponge that comes with this or you will get "cake face" (yikes). I just go over the shinier spots like the t-zone using a make up brush or disposable cotton pads (you may call me a clean freak but it helps preserve your make up & less irritation/break outs happen). I must say like most women I don't have time to muck with this two step thing just for foundation so I don't use both every day because to me the coverage is med.full but when I want to look my absolute best this is what I use.

I normally only wear powder foundations. My HG is Make Up For Ever Duo Mat in shade 203. I wanted a more affordable option that I could wear on days when I don't need to look my best but still look decent. I picked this up in shade W3. Although it was a good color match, the finish was horrible!! I gave it a shot for a week, trying different application methods. I first tried applied it with the sponge it came with and it looked caked on and gross! The second time I tried applying with a kabuki brush, also caked on. I got the best coverage using a damp disposable triangle sponge using very little product. But even then it managed to accentuate any single bit of dryness. Whereas my face is not dry at ALL. I bought this at CVS so thankfully I was able to take it back and get a refund. I do not recommend this product.
