It works well for taking off excess eyeshadow, but to apply shadow it is too large for my eyelids. I would recommend a smaller brush for applying eye shadow.

I love this Bare Minerals brush! Its very small, and supposed to be for blending, but I use it as a blush brush, because its more precise than a large standard blush brush. Again, this is a small brush, but I love it for blush. Its the second one I have purchased. It was hard to find this brush at the other beauty supply dealers on line. I love this brush. It's great for eyes as well as under eyes, cheeks and other details on the face that need smoothing. Perfect brush.
