I have had my Smashbox flat foundation brush for several years. I recently purchased a MAC flat foundation brush (at the MAC store so it's not a fake!) and tried it with BB Cream and liquid foundation. It just didn't have the control or finish that I get with my Smashbox foundation brush.
Even though I've relied on this old faithful for years, it still goes strong. Wash after wash, it has held its shape and still performs beautifully. The MAC brush felt stiff and cheap in comparison.
I've tried many brands of flat foundation brushes but I just keep reaching for my Smashbox brush over and over. It's an old faithful friend that never lets me down!
