I bought this product as a recommendation from InStyle Magazine. I was not pleased and will have to spend a lot with my stylist to correct the orange and yellow hues that this product created--not blond. I will not buy this product again, not refer it to friends.

For someone who has never done a home hair color application before using this one, I was impressed. I have been afraid of coloring my own hair but decided to try it. The brush application makes the process so easy. Its not messy at all. If you follow the instructions its super easy. And the instructions are very self explanatory. I used the 3N Darkest brown. It is dark, but I imagine it will fade a bit. But your hair is silky smooth afterwards. The conditioning mask makes a huge difference. I highly recommend this product.

i agree with the other reviews: delivers GREAT shine and coverage; the hair color is darker than anticipated (medium golden brown initially resulted in the darkest brown i could imagine); the color does lighten somewhat by the second week. however, feria gives me more multi-dimensional color and almost the same amount of shine, especially if i use clairol color seal conditioner. my plan is to go back to feria next and continue to assess both options.

I don't know if I was supposed to bleach or lighten my hair before using this product but the dye did nothing for my dark brown espresso hair. How disappointing.
