I have blond hair, and eyebrows which are pretty much invisible. I have tried various eyebrow products over the years, but couldn't find one that would define my eyebrows while giving a natural look. Until now. This pencil gives a very natural look; it draws a very fine line, the color looks natural, and the eyebrow brush blends it into the natural eyebrow well. It almost like it's making my eyebrows visible, instead of looking painted on. I would recommend this product to anyone.

The tip of this pencil is SOOOO tiny, that the pencil breaks quiet easily. Seriously if you want to apply one eyebrow hair at a time, then this is the product for you.

The rest of us are busy, and this takes far too much time. The packaging is cheap; the plastic covering the other end of the pencil just fell off and won't stay on.

The color is okay,

I usually love Almay products, but this one I regret purchasing.

the product is great. i prefer it over other popular drugstore eyebrow pencils that are similar. i like how thin the liner is. and how it twists instead of having to sharpen. and the brow brush on the end is so practical. however i only gave this 4 stars because the color is kind of dark. I have dark blonde hair with highlights and my eyebrows are more like a light brown and this color is at least as dark as my eyebrows if not more. not sure how the other colors compare but i like this product enough to try to find it in blonde, instead of just dark blonde.

I have blonde brows that disappear. This is the only product that makes me look like I have brows. Whoopie! So easy to apply and natural looking.

I wish this brow pencil were easier to find locally because sometimes it takes forever to come from Amazon. Luckily, that was not the case recently, and I hope Amazon will continue to keep it in stock for easy, quick shipping. It is the best brow pencil of all that I have tried.

Some brow pencils are really little pencils that you need to sharpen with a pencil sharpener, sometimes included. No matter how sharp a point I bring them to, they still smudge beyond the limits of my actual brows. It looks terrible. I did find one pencil that has the same idea as this one: just a twist on the pencil itself and up comes the product. However, Almay's product twists up more easily and provides a better finish.

I have a lot of white hairs in my eyebrows, and I use this brow pencil to lightly cover them. My actual brow color is a very dark brown, so the white hairs do stand out a lot without some coverage. I started using light blonde only because I bought my first pencil locally and that was the only color available. I figured it was better than nothing. However, since my hair color is light, using the pencil to lightly cover the dark hairs while toning down the white hairs proved to be a wonderful change. My dark brows no longer looked so DARK compared to my hair! The swirl brush on the opposite end of the pencil does a great job of coaxing the brow hairs into place (mine need the help) and keeping my brows looking groomed for the whole day. Also, I have one brow that's thinner than the other. I do the heavier brown first, which leaves me with something of a sharp ridge on the pencil that I can then use with short strokes to fill in the thin area of the other brow before applying the pencil to the rest of the brown. My brows look equally full. Looks good!

A couple of things to be careful about when using the pencil: (1) Don't twist out a long section of the pencil. It is soft and will break. I keep the length less than 1/4-inch and find that amount to be perfect for one brown. Also, use a light touch to avoid breaking off the exposed bit of pencil. You don't want to waste any of this stuff. (2) The case around the brush might tend to crack so that you brush will not stay in well. This has happened often to me. I take care of that problem by storing the pencil upright. I use a small planter on my vanity top to hold small items ready to use and place pencil in it with the brush pointing up. The cap on the pencil end (pointing down) is tight, so there's not problem letting it point down in the planter. This way my pencil/brush is always ready to use.
