This works a little differently than traditional latex. You need to put on the lashes right away instead of waiting 30-45 seconds for it to get sticky. It stayed on all day and I kept all my eyelashes. I find I get a headache from wearing the glue, so I'm still allergic to this. I don't have swollen eyes, but I'm sad to find it's not allergy free for me.

I am sensitive to latex products so I decided to try this latexfree adhesive and it works just as good as a Latex adhesive with out the irritation. I am happy with my purchase.

I thought brush-on and clear would be an improvement and make putting lashes on easier, but for me it was not. It's difficult to get the right amount of adhesive on the entire lash line (end up with not enough) and they don't stick. Also, clear adhesive still shows on your eyelid when it dries if you happen to get a bit of adhesive on your skin. The clear adhesive may work like the white adhesive if you could put it on your hand and run the lash through it perhaps, but the brush-type of adhesive just did not work for me.
